Why not join a working partyto help keep your local site in good order? They have already made progress at Tarring, Dominion, George Vth, Chesswood, Hill Barn and St. Andrews. Speak with your overseer.

The Friends of whitebeam woods are working in conjunction with the woodland trust in bringing to the people of Worthing a spectacular day of fun and engaging activities, within our very own last remaining ancient woodland. The aim of the day is to bring awareness of the new national Charter for Trees, Woods and people, as well as to educate people locally about the rare and vital woodland habitat that exists in Worthing. The day will provide a balance of educational and engaging activities centred around the woodland and its inhabitants, as well as providing fun cultural entertainment for all the family to enjoy. As it is being held in midsummer, the central theme is a midsummers day dream, drawing on the infamous Shakespearian play, set in an enchanted woodland. We aim to inspire and enchant the hearts and minds of the people of Worthing, into falling back in love with this often forgotten and disregarded space. Details and contact point on the attached pdf.

THE EVENT IS PLANNED FOR 25/06/17 10.00-17.00
